We were the first in the industry to introduce resident check-in because we understand that independent living residents demand their independence and don’t want to be checked on by a staff member every day. Our resident check-in will not only allow residents to discreetly check in each day, but in order to avoid a potentially embarrassing follow-up by a staff member, an automated call can be placed to remind a resident who forgets to check in.

To maintain a more residential feel, our solution can be programmed to be completely or near silent, with vibrate-only pagers and a central reporting station which only annunciates after a delay in responding to a call for help.

Our assisted living solutions are easily expandable to include features from our higher-acuity care solutions and provide your residents with the most safety, security, and independence of any solutions on the market today.

Other Independent Living features include:

  • Pull cord emergency call stations aesthetically match the decor of the room with neutral-color, rounded-corner enclosures.
  • Pull cords are long enough to reach the floor in case of a fall, but for residents who are still standing during a call for help our pull cord emergency call stations also have a second tassel for easier grip further up the wall.
  • Wearable wireless pendants are offered in a variety of colors, and can be worn either around the neck or discreetly on the wrist
  • Total campus wireless coverage using our wireless mesh networking solution ensures that your mobile, independent residents are covered no matter where they are on your property
